Pierce County PFAS Product Replacement: Non-stick Cookware

Tacoma Pierce County Health Department will reduce human exposure to PFAS and associated toxic chemicals through identification and replacement of PFAS non-stick cookware for safer alternatives. _x000D_

PFAS cookware replacement will be accomplished through education, outreach, coordination of old product disposal and new product distribution. _x000D_

We will leverage established resources and community connections, including our Communications Team, Community Engagement Team and Department-supported Family Resource Centers to connect families with cookware replacement opportunity._x000D_

Geographic focus area is incorporated and unincorporated areas of Pierce County. We will prioritize efforts in underserved communities with poorer health outcomes and other inequities.
