Effects of Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDEs) on Chinook Salmon Health
13-92327001
This project will study salmon exposed to bio-accumulating chemicals, polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), found in Puget Sound Chinook to understand the industrial contaminants' effects on salmon health. This study will aid in the development of protective standards for aquatic life and will lead to reducing these chemicals in our environment.
