20% More Eelgrass by 2020: Restoration Site Selection and Testing, and Resolving Regulatory and Social Barriers

This project will locate sites suitable for eelgrass restoration that would be conserved from future anthropogenic disturbances and are resilient to climate change. Shoreline planners and research scientists will help determine where regulations are not effectively reducing stress to eelgrass and provide recommendations on restoring and protecting resilient eelgrass meadows.
