From 2011-2019 Washington State Department of Ecology served as the lead organization for a National Estuary Program (NEP) cooperative agreement entitled Toxics and Nutrients Prevention, Reduction, and Control. This report is a synthesis of funded nutrient management projects and scientific application and research projects. It provides an overview of nutrient projects, discussion and recommendations based on lessons learned from these projects, and connection with related nutrient management work in the region.
