Support and Analysis for Tulalip Tribes Participation in Pilot Study for EPA Triple Value Simulation Project
The Environmental Protection Agency Office of Research and Development (EPA ORD) has invited the Tulalip Tribes to partner with EPA to conduct a pilot study on the application of EPA’s Triple Value (3V) simulation model as a tool to inform management and policy initiatives to improve sustainability and resilience in the Snohomish and Stillaguamish basins. This work plan provides staff support, research, and analysis for the pilot study, producing work products that the Tulalip intend to use for two purposes: (a) to evaluate merits of proceeding to a full-scale implementation of the 3V model, an integrated decision support tool for fostering cohesive response to a suite of challenges to environmental, economic, and social well-being; and (b) to build tribal capacity to engage other actors in pursuing a shared vision for restoration and resilience.
